If an item that you need is checked out, you may request a hold. When the item is returned, you will be notified through your Baylor e-mail account, and the item will be held for you at the Main Information Desk on the 1st floor of Moody Library. If you do not pick up the item within the 7-day hold period, the hold will be canceled automatically and the item will be reshelved (or held for the next person who has placed a hold on it).

To place a hold request, you must login to OneSearch with your Bear ID/password. Then, use the REQUEST: "A Hold" link in the OneSearch record.  A request form will display; optionally, indicate a date "not needed after" and any comments for library personnel.  When done, click: "Send Request".

You can also request the item from the OsoFast interlibrary loan service. If you choose this option, you can make the request from the OneSearch record (after logging in with your Bear ID/password) by clicking on the "OsoFast" link instead of the "A Hold" link.
