All Baylor alumni may apply for checkout privileges in person at the Main Circulation Desk (Moody Library, 1st floor) or by completing the online application form. You must present a valid, government-issued ID card with current address, and supply current contact information (a phone number and/or email address) before an Alumni Library Card will be issued.

Alumni may check out up to five items from the Moody and Jones Libraries at a time. The loan period is 3 weeks with one renewal allowed. Media items, reserve materials, and some other materials are not available for checkout. Please also note that interlibrary loan privileges are NOT available. On-site use of databases are permitted but only on select visitor computers - remote access is only available to current Baylor affiliates due to licensing agreements.

Also note that you are responsible for paying all charges assessed for materials in your possession, including replacement costs for lost or severely damaged items, repair costs for slightly damaged items, and overdue fines for each day a book is kept past the assigned due date.

  1. Would applying for this card enable the use of online databases such as atla?

  2. Only people currently affiliated with Baylor can have off-campus access to our electronic resources, per our licensing agreements with those who provide the resources. See this FAQ: https://libanswers.baylor.edu/faq/318565.
