Eligibility

88 lockers are available for Graduate student and faculty member use. Lockers are located on the 2nd floor corridor between Moody and Jones Libraries. To reserve a locker, please email Charles Howard (charles_howard1@baylor.edu). If demand exceeds our available supply, we maintain a waiting list to help us assign lockers fairly.

As lockers become available, applicants on the waiting list are contacted in order by e-mail sent to their Baylor accounts. Locker assignments must be accepted in person at the main service desk on the first floor of Moody Library within two weeks of notification. An applicant who fails to claim the lockers by the deadline forfeit his/her turn and the locker will be offered to the next person named on the waiting list.

Assignment and Renewal

The loan period for lockers is one semester. Eligible users may request additional semesters, but renewals must be requested each semester. Renewal notices, which include instructions for obtaining the renewal, are automatically sent to your Baylor email address at the end of each semester. If you fail to renew your locker as instructed, it will be cleared, the combination will be changed, and the locker will be made available to the next person on the waiting list. Any personal items cleared from lockers will be held in lost and found at Moody Library first floor service desk for a maximum of two weeks.  Library personnel will email to notify that personal items at lost and found. Unclaimed items after that time will be disposed of as appropriate.

Locker Use Policy - Library Materials

Library materials kept in lockers must be properly checked out. Lockers are monitored weekly by library staff. Library materials which are not properly checked out will be removed. Journals, reference books, and other non-circulating materials may not be left in lockers. If any of these items are found, they will be removed. Disregard for this policy will result in the permanent loss of locker privileges.
