To activate access to The New York Times website, current Baylor students, faculty, and staff should make sure they are connected to the campus wired network or the AirBear wireless network or using VPN (from off campus) and then follow these steps:

  • Go to this website and follow the instructions to activate your personal academic pass.
  • Once activated, you will be able to access the digital New York Times via their web site or the NYT apps from any location.
  • Download the free NYT apps from your preferred app store.
  • Note: Faculty and staff will need to renew the pass once every four years, and student access will expire with their provided graduation date.

Instructions for setting up your Baylor University institutional account with The New York Times are also available on this web page
