With a few exceptions, there are no limits on renewals for print materials. Renewals can be done by logging into your library account at the Access Your Library Account link on the library homepage.

However, if another user places a "hold" on a checked out item, they become next in line for the item and the current owner may no longer request renewals. Similarly, if faculty require the use of a checked out item for instruction purposes, the item will be recalled. The current owner will be blocked from renewing and will receive an email asking that the item be returned to the library immediately.
In both of these cases, users can get access to another copy of the item by submitting an OsoFast request.
