The My Media page lists the media that you either created or uploaded. Items in My Media are associated with you, not with your course, and will follow you from course to course in Canvas. My Media items are only viewable to you until you publish them to a Media Gallery.

From My Media, you can do the following: view, search, and edit media and metadata; publish media items to your course(s) Media Gallery; select a frame to use as a thumbnail; upload, manage and search captions; disable or close comments
